"Bidding used to be the thing I was still fiddling with at midnight. Traffic Revenue took it over, set a strategy per market and holds it there. We are scaling campaigns far faster than we ever managed on our own."

Challenge

A German DTC ecommerce group had grown from a single brand into a portfolio selling across more than 50 markets. Paid social carried almost all of that growth, and two people were running it in-house.

Most of the working day went into Ads Manager: building campaigns market by market, resetting budgets, and checking whether yesterday’s spend had earned its place. Creative testing was the other half of the job. Every new angle had to be launched, watched and killed by hand, which capped how many the team could get in market in a week.

That left almost no time for the work that actually moves a portfolio — market-level planning, offer testing, and deciding where the next tranche of budget should go. They came to us to take the buying off their desk.

Solution

They brought us in to run paid acquisition end to end. We took the accounts over and rebuilt the campaign structure market by market, so budget could move between markets instead of sitting where it was first allocated.

We monitor ad performance daily. Bids move with the market rather than staying where they were set on Monday, budget shifts toward what is working, and anything running below the target return is stopped before it burns a day of spend. Creative and audience testing runs on a fixed weekly cadence, so new angles go live whether or not anyone on the client side has time to launch them.

On the creative side we report every week on which ad creatives and marketing angles perform best across audiences and markets, and that report decides what gets produced next.

Results

Since we took the accounts over, the group has saved over 234% in total ad spend and cut CPA by 30% while scaling spend worldwide. On the largest account alone we run more than 80 active campaigns, 600 ad sets and 1,990 ads targeting 50+ countries — a volume two people could not hold while also running the business.

Profitability and sales volume improved across the portfolio while staying inside budget targets, and the client grew their own team from two people to ten as the number of brands they could support went up.

"Handing the buying to Traffic Revenue gave us our week back, and we spend it on creative that converts. Spend went up because the accounts could carry it, and revenue went up with it."
